In addition you will see that the Mattel artist chose not to add any color to her nostrils. Later dolls were painted with stencils to make them more uniform. The doll has no defects no green, no cracks etc. I put her hair up as it was just hanging loose but it could probably do with a professional retie, there are no visible missing plugs or cuts. Her ponytail is a very good length for an early doll. She could use a gentle cleaning. There are a few little spots on her lower legs and 1 shoulder - my guess from resting against a stand. They are small scuff marks -- not green. The doll will come to you with the original T. Box in good condition but not perfect, the T. Stand, original swimusit, sunglasses, hoop earrings and also a pair of rare original issue pearl stud earrings -- some #1's were issued with pearl stud earrings instead of hoops -- very rare. Lastly she comes with the #1 black open toe heels to accomodate the stand. He has Japan stamped on her foot inside the older heel box which adds to her provenance as she is a very early first issue doll due to the hand painting. Both brass tubes are present in her feet and the correct markings on her bum. Lovely doll with overall even skin tone coloring.
