1960 #3 Vintage BARBIE white skin crayon smell BOX with STAND & Accessories

  

Beautiful #3 brunette Barbie from 1960. She has the white complexion and the crayon smell. Lips and eyes are original - even eyelash ridges.

Finger and toe nails have likely been touched up. Hair has been re-tied, but is all original - no re-root. She came to me with a broken neck knob and I had it fixed with a stainless steel screw about 18 years ago. The neck knob is holding strong, not discoloring, and you can't see it at all. Her head turns as normal and you can't tell it's been fixed.

I don't want to try to remove her head to photograph it. No neck splits, no green ever. Insides of earring holes are a bit dirty.

Her body color is overall very even, except her breasts and bottom are a bit pinker, which is normal for #3s. Very faint marks across the tops of her feet from wearing open-toes shoes. Very faint factory mold marks on her hips. Tiny mold mark on top of right shoulder - looks like a bubble in the plastic - I could not get it to photograph it's so small - looks like a speck of dirt.

Includes her original swimsuit, one original black open-toe shoe, one original earring, original cat-eye sunglasses, and original two-piece stand with plastic base. Stand is in excellent condition with no melt marks and only very minor scuffs. No breakage around hole and wire upright fits snugly. Barbie "R" box in very good condition labeled STOCK No. 850 with no hair color listed. Box looks like side was a little crushed at one time and was glued to straighten it back out - see pic.
