All Original #1 BLONDE PONYTAIL BARBIE In Box. I will start off by telling you a few reasons why I held onto this gal. I have not seen a #1 so evenly pink and with perfect, fresh, original face paint. The lips look like they just came out of the factory.

Hard to believe, I know. I have owned 2 #1's and 2 #2's, plus studied the faces for years, so you can trust my knowledge.

She must have been stored away very well as the hair is still very pale blonde. Normally the hair oxidizing to a more darker, gold blonde.

Never had any green ears or neck splits. Head and limbs are super tight, so no repairs or problems.

I doubt the doll was played with. Almost 100% finger paint and 50% toe paint as the toes probably rubbed against the box. The prongs are thinner than Mattels repro so it works perfect for the vintage holes.

Only thing done to her is I had her ponytail professionally restored. Her face is just so perfect and exactly what she would have looked like picking her off the shelf back in 1959. Box is (R) and I made the inserts.
