Mattel # 1 BLOND PONYTAIL BARBIE with ORIGINAL STAND/SHOES/GLASSES

  
Well, where do I begin on this great treasure? She is from a single original owner who recently passed a few months ago, she was not a collector, there were a dozen or so mixed dolls from her childhood. They were all in remarkably great condition but no boxes. She loved and admired them from a distance, but they have been openly displayed, thankfully there is no odors or smoke. For your consideration, this is indeed and verified an authentic 1959 # 1 BARBIE by Mattel. She is marked MCMLVIII on one of her buttock cheeks, I hope I read that right.

She is also stamped JAPAN on the bottom of one of her feet. This foot is also the one that is missing the tubing out of the hole in her foot.

The other one is there. She has fabulous blond hair, still in the original pony tail with top knot and the original band is in the top knot as well. The band on the bottom of her ponytail is gone but you can see that its still in original form, bangs are still curly like a poodle. There are no missing roots, really in suberb condition.

She has white side glancing iris' on the eyes, original liner and eye shadow as well, believe me, it took me about a dozen times to get a clear close up for you. She does have some fading on her lips. Her nail polish is perfect on both hands and feet. As you will be able to see, she has been in her original zebra bathing suit for all this time as you can see the fading onto the body. The rest of her body is a milky color. She does have her original shoes, although one of them is broken at the top, also provided in picture. She is on her original round stand that is in perfect condition, it does not have any chips or cracks or breaks, perfectly round and smooth and with both prongs. She does not have any earrings, but she also does not have any green on her ears....
