SEVINYL SOLANGE. Bild Lilli Severine Sylvain, Caprice

  

Sevinyl was my first foray into vinyl doll making. I started working on her a couple of years ago but Ive put her on the back burner. Sevinyl is made of very high quality , heavy vinyl and she is strung on elastic like Mily by Gege , the French doll from the late 60s. Her head is a laser cut copy of Caprice by Caprice but with an elongated forehead.

In this regard she is like the Anouk doll , except Anouk is an artisan sculpt and Sevinyl is an exact facial copy of Caprice. She is slightly taller than my doll Severine or my current S girls (Sylvain , Stella and Sable). Soon I shall be relaunching Sevinyl and her sister doll Solange in simple swimsuits. She is completely hand painted and gently airbrushed. Is based on Suzettes sculpt and is very carefully painted to imbue her with a slightly sinister edge.

As vinyl dolls go , her quality is superb. The fact that she is strung on elastic enables rotational movement of her arms and also means that her head can be sweetly tilted. This imbues the dolls with more character.

She comes in a heavy card box. This doll wears a striking lurex dress, red gloves and black , spike heeled , custom made shoes , also a fabulous Liz Cole hand made , beaded and glittering bag. Bild Lilli Severine Sylvain, Caprice" is in sale since Friday, September 14, 2018.
