VINTAGE BARBIE #3 RAVEN UPDO HAIR BRUNETTE PONYTAIL WITH SOLO IN THE SPOTLIGHT DRESS, PINK SILHOUETTE BOX, PINK SCARF, BLACK O/T SHOES, ROUND STAND, NECKLACE & MICROPHONE. Please read below so I can tell you about this Stunning Beauty! She has the heavy body which smells like crayons - with the proper TM marking - her coloring has turned a beautiful milky white, so if you like the the milky white bodies, you will love this one. The two little black specs on her body were from her dress and blew right off. She has the hard-to-find blue eyeliner. She has the correct bottom marking - please see photo. Japan is on the bottom of her right foot. Arms and legs hold a pose nicely. She is a gorgeous doll, just as pretty as she looks in the pictures. I think she had her makeup restored at some point before I got her, but I won't test her as I don't want to smear her makeup. She has pretty raven black hair with the updo hair style. When I got her, I was not happy with the outfit that came with her, it was not up to the standards this beautiful doll should have - so I won a MIB outfit and opened it up and that is the one she will come in. It comes with her necklace, microphone, shoes, dress & scarf. I was determined she was going to have a dress to be proud of and she has displayed it proudly in my curio cabinet here at home.

I forgot to take a picture of the scarf so that is why it is in a picture alone. I did want you to see that it has one little black dot on the scarf. It was that way when I took it out of the box. I'm guessing one of the black beads fell of the dress and landed on top of the scarf and that was where it laid for many years making the small black dot. The round disk stand is in excellent condition.

It has the Barbie TM label on the front disk (please see picture). She comes with her original pearl stud earrings. She has a lovely body and stance. The only thing I could find on her that I consider a flaw is that she has a tiny chip on her big toe on her right foot (I have shown a picture of this) - it is a teeny tiny chip, but needs to be mentioned.

The Pink Silhouette Box bottom has no split corners, please see pictures of the inside and backside of the box bottom. The Pink Silhouette box top has one split corner, the graphics are still good, but the box does show its' age, but in my opinion, it is still very good. This is the box that has the'R' on it. Dressed dolls were sent in these boxes to retailers to use as display dolls to help boost their sales. I will try to answer all questions and always try to describe these items as they are.
