Vintage 1960's Barbie Trousseau Trunk MIB with 4 dolls in Wedding Party outfits

  
Up for sale is an incredible lot ready to leave my personal collection and be displayed in yours. Features 4 vintage Mattel Barbie family dolls dressed in their Wedding Party outfits as well as a minty Wedding Trousseau hard plastic trunk with its original box. Each item is described fully below and please view photos carefully to see all the details. 1 SPP Barbie Trousseau Trunk in original box. You won't find a "mintier" example than this - I took it straight out of the box (inside liner and all) and put it on display. No discoloration, rust, cracks or any problems on the outside. Inside there are very minor stress cracks at 2 liner corners (you really have to look for them). Wig stand is attached and mint with no melt marks.

2 1964 Fashion Queen Barbie with blue headband and 3 near mint wigs (redhead bubble, blond pageboy and brunette sidepart flip). Near mint condition with nice pink lips and just a small rub on painted hair (see photo 8); no green ears or body problems. She is wearing a near mint and complete #947 Bride's Dream bridal ensemble with an unusual variation to the dress. The ruffled layers in front are trimmed with white pearly sequins - it is very well done but I cannot find any information about this having been done by Mattel, so maybe they were "mommy added" although it's possible that it is some foreign market prototype or sample!

Includes gown, veil, long white gloves, pearl necklace, bouquet, white open-toe Japan shoes and her blue garter. All pieces vintage and original. 3 1962 Brunette Straight Leg Ken.

Near mint condition with a few small rubs on painted hair (see photo 8); body near mint and no other issues. He wears #787 Tuxedo, near mint and complete except for the corsage I figured that was for the prom, not the wedding!

Includes black suit with boutonniere, white tuxedo shirt, maroon bow tie (original elastic intact) and cummerbund, black dress socks and shoes, all vintage and original. 4 1964 Blonde Straight Leg Midge. Near mint condition with pretty coral lips and bright blue eyes; body near mint with all polish.

As maid of honor, she wears #987 Orange Blossom, near mint and complete. Includes yellow sheath dress with lacy pinafore, yellow veiled headband, long white gloves, bouquet and white open-toe Japan shoes, all vintage and original. 5 1965 Titian Redhead Bendable Leg Skipper. She wears #1904 Flower Girl, near mint and complete. Includes yellow dress, floral headband, bouquet, short white gloves, ankle socks and white Japan flat shoes, all vintage and original.

This set has been in my collection for many, many years and I want to keep it together as I always loved the way it displayed. I hope to find a new owner who will enjoy them for many more years.

All items were kept in a climate and light controlled room/cabinet and my home is smoke-free. My cats are not allowed to play with the dolls!
