Vintage #3 BLONDE PONYTAIL BARBIE. Blue Eyeliner

  

For your consideration is this Iconic and Beautiful BLONDE #3 PONYTAIL BARBIE with harder-to-find BLUE EYELINER. She has all original makeup with smoky shadow, perfect red lips (no rubs) and nose dots, and dark eye brows. She retains about 50% of her finger and toe nail paint. Look at that face: it is so classic and gorgeous and is the reason why collectors love #3 ponytails. Her body is marked Barbie TM and has the crayon smell of all 3s.

There is the beginning of a tiny split on the right side of her neck. Not a problem if you leave the head on which moves normally on its neck knob. She is a total beauty.

Facial blush has been applied and is not from the factory. Her left eye appears larger because the black pupil is bigger inside that eye. This is the way the doll was when I bought her and it seems to be original, from the factory.

The black eyeliner extends further to the outside edge of her left eye as well, which adds to the illusion. Her ponytail has been retied and is a bit on the short side.

Not sure it is trimmed since it has the remnants of a few curls on the bottom. No green dots inside earring holes. She also has numerous soft curls in her bangs. Number 3 Barbie ponytails are among the most cherished vintage Barbies by collectors because of their exceptionally sweet faces.
