Vintage BARBIE #4 Brunette Ponytail (1960-61). Very Full, Dark Brunette Hair. Number 4 Ponytail was issued in 1960. Ew vinyl that retains its color - does not fade to ivory like the earlier dolls. This doll has the heaviest body I have held, weighing 5.6 ounces.

The hollow dolls weigh as little as 4.6 ounces. Face Paint is all Original and Excellent No rubs or fading. Dark Raspberry nail polish on all fingers and toes Excellent shows no fading. All fingers in excellent condition.

All limbs are snug and well attached. Hair is very full with No missing or thinned hair plugs. Hair is very soft with Bouncy curly bangs. Lovely curls at the bottom of the ponytail but have flattened with storage. Original hair set Bottom Rubber has been replaced. Almost not a single hair in the Origianl Set Ponytail is out of place. Slightest touch of darkening at the earring holes. New Barbie Storage Box with Liner. Original Zebra Black & White Swimsuit. Original Black Open Toe Heels One marked JAPAN TLC. Upper torso looks lighter and is a little dry. Small vinyl skin tag above left breast. 2 small black tiny dots on her right. Face is a touch shiny.
