Afforable dark, dark brunette American Girl side part doll. Definitely not for the advanced.

A hard to find doll that has had restoration! While she would display nice from a distance she has had many flaws in her original state. I will say up front that she was in a pitiful state, the restoration leaves a lot to be desired, and a more meticulous restorationist could work wonders with her. First, the later raised letter bend leg body is very nice.

Nails and toes were re-painted. It is clean, no major damage. There are 2 faint pin taps on back left ankle. Nice vinyl color, a tad dark but not bad.

She does have 3 pin taps on her forehead that her bangs cover (photo #12), and a tap below her left eye. There was nose tip damage, it was repaired.

Makeup to include brows, eyes, lips and cheeks were re-done. The mouth to me is somewhat crooked on the left bow. Also this is not a Japanese side part and the lip color should be low color coral.

The brows, lashes and lip color are too shiny to appear original IMO. Just an observation from research and what she came to me as originally. Her hair is not the soft texture, but it is coarse! I do not see any obvious cuts, but there are about 6 missing plugs back top (sadly I paid to have these replaced during restoration and they were not). Here part is all over the place.

She is definitely not a center part, but the part pattern is different! Note that photos #4 and #5 were taken outdoors in sunlight. She will come nude with her gold wire stand. A talented person with good skills could make her lovely!!!

Or a not so picky collector could have a value display! These are used vintage items and usually show some degree of play wear.
