Vintage Barbie FRANCIE with GROWIN' PRETTY HAIR Doll withTag Hair Cello Mattel
For your consideration is an unplayed-with mod FRANCIE with GROWIN PRETTY HAIR Doll. This doll is gorgeous and unplayed-with. She has been in her original pink lame and satin dress for nearly 50 years. Francie's hair is in it's original set and it retains the original cello head wrap that has never been removed. Her hair has never been "pulled".
Franicie's high color make-up is perfect and has no rubs. Francie has no green, pin pricks, chews, or bites. Francie's face has darkened some over the years which often happens. She also has some pink staining on her shoulders under the straps of the dress. You can also see that where the dress has been sitting on Francie's chest for nearly 50 years, there is a very slight darkening - kind of like a sun tan.
When the shoulders of the dress are pulled back up none of these issues can be seen. Francie's dress has never been removed. Francie retains her original Francie wrist tag. One side is not attached, as unfortunately I accidentally pulled on the tag and it tore on one side.The adorable pink lame and satin dress with silver net overskirt is in like new condition. The Francie tag is crisp and un-frayed. There is some "silvering" of the shoulders on the dress which can happen over time with this fabric. Other than that the dress is near mint. Francie also comes with her pink soft pointed heels.
