Vintage Barbie ponytail #1 blond handpainted -TM box, Mattel repro stand, 1959

  
Thank goodness I had ebayers and my barbie collection to save me! She is one of the earliest handpainted #1 barbies.

She does not have any green ear, nose nip, neck splits or missing plugs. She has the square JAPAN stamp in a box on her heel.

Her TM body is solid with the rods in her feet and she smells like crayons. She has the early "japan" rectangular box on heel. I have done an alcohol swab on her entire face twice to confirm she is the real deal and have had her appraised. (1) her vintage zebra suit. (2) Reproduction #1 two prong mattel barbie stand.

(4) Vintage TM box with neck insert, (no taped corners, just a "50 cent" marking on the front , see photos). (5) Number one barbie, black japan heels. (7) Vintage Barbie pink pamphlet. (8) rare 1959 original pearl earrings. I try to be hyper critical and want full disclosure of everything, however miniscule I can find.

See photos as they are the best guide to condition. Left lower hip marking is shown in photo. I have done my best to fully describe items for sale to the best of my knowledge. However, my items are not for the picky or mint collector.

My home is smoke and odor free. I don't want to risk her being damaged travelling back and forth.
