Vintage Ponytail #5 Barbie doll. JAPANESE EXCLUSIVE KIMONO #B901-2 DRESSED BOX DOLL. This is an rare sample of the early Gay Parisienne type boxes Dressed box dolls.

She is an amazing #5 ponytail with raven brunette hair. Her make up is perfect. A very small hint of green at one ear that is barely visible and has non oxydizing replacement earrings.

Lips are full and red. Hair is perfect and shiny and the bands have been replaced and hair put back in her original braid. Barbie only body is excellent too.

The kimono 901-2 shows some yellowing, the inner silk liner has no hole, nor has the brocade. The obi is played with. The rare pouch is included.

Comes with Fashion Queen mules. This box is the first Barbie box type with Gay Parisienne outfit on cover. It is used and shows significant signs of aging.

The inner box has the Japanese stamp. The doll also comes with. The rare Japanese exclusive Barbie / Ken / Midge leaftlet (the little girl circled the dolls she wanted in the leaflet). A TLC gold wire stand that need repair and the gold of which has faded.
