Vintage Uneeda Wendy Doll Rare African American Black Barbie Clone Swirl Hair

  

Rare and hard-to-find vintage 1960s African American Uneeda Wendy doll in clean, excellent condition. Her face paint is all original with no paint rubs or paint loss. Her lip color is a deeper pink than it appears in the photos. Her hair is a striking mixture of dark brown and red strands.

She has no missing hair plugs or hair trims. One hair plug was sewn at the factory through the top tip of her left ear.

Her original swirl ponytail hairstyle has been professionally restyled and lays beautifully. She appears to have had only minimal play with just a few very light scuffs on her legs.

She has no neck splits, no earring holes, no green at ears, no nose nips, no chew marks, no pin pricks and no hair cuts. All limbs are tight and hold poses well.

She is marked "U" (for Uneeda) on the back of her head. Quite a beautiful example of this hard-to-find doll.
