This lovely 1940's-1950's era Rare 20 Effanbee Dy Dee Lou Doll, with soft light brown curly Curacal wig is a vintage collectible doll with a rubber body, composite head with a full vintage wardrobe. The set includes the doll's original underwear set and a variety of vintage clothing and accessories, including a Wonder Bottle and matching outfit hair bows, making it a comprehensive addition to any doll collection from that time period. At 20 inches in length, this lifesize doll is a nostalgic piece that encapsulates the style and essence of 1940s and 1950s fashion. The doll has clear hazel sleepy eyes that open and shut framed with thick full intact lashes.

Her original face paint is fresh and vibrant with just a few minor but mostly unnoticeable blemishes with some fading of her eyebrows. Her soft rubber body is fully jointed and posable. There is slight pitting on her upper arms and light crazing of her legs. But no dents or cracks that take away from her vintage appearance.

This doll is in exceptional excellent vintage rarely found in a doll of her age. Her wardrobe consists of her original 2pc underwear, a cute diaper set and matching bib with doll pampers, pink trimmed white flannel nightgown, 2 sweet pink and blue cotton dresses with a pair of white bloomers, light yellow coat jacket and a white lace Christening gown with matching bonnet and bloomers. Also included are a pair of original white rubber shoes, a pair of black patent leather Mary Jane shoes with lacey socks and white knitted booties with a rosebud on top.

Outfits and her soft dilk blankie are contained in a purple plastic zip bag. She is suitable for avid collector's and lovers of nostalgic dolls. She has been carefully stored and recently cleaned and is in overall good condition. I would also say she is "Play Ready" to be enjoyed by any little girl who would love to have an adorable babydoll to dress and play with. I would like to see her enjoyed and appreciated, instead of tucked away in my doll trunk as she has been for many years.
