She has really nice, curly bangs and a short ponytail. Many early dolls had various lengths of hair and this gal has it shorter than most, but original owner told me that her hair was never cut. Nevertheless, it is short and thin.
Her body has faded with age and the outline of her bathing suit is visible. She has a mark on her right top of the arm - see pictures. Her feet have the typical staining from wearing shoes for many years. Her foot is marked "Japan" and her bottom has the Barbie logo, Pats Pending, MCMLVIII, by Mattel Inc. She has various scratches and mold marks that are typical for the early Barbie dolls.
She is a lovely display doll and will make some Barbie collector very happy! She is not mint and her starting price is low because she has some flaws, however she is very pretty.
