This information was provided by having her evaluated by an antique expert. She does not have her original paperwork but she is an adorable 18-inch German Kammer & Reinhardt baby doll with a Bisque complexion and light brown hair. Her clothes are original all snaps and clasps work. Minor discolor on clothing very hard to see - like dot size she has a tiny smudge of pink on her head that I think can be cleaned off if you know how. Handmade by artist Simon Halbig Kammer Reinhardt, this female baby doll is signed and is part of the German Antique Dolls franchise.
She has the iconic kr signature and her mold is either 321 or 121. There is a hand signature but unclear what from - as this doll according to the expert is all original parts.
It's possible her paint was touched up. Look at her gorgeous lashes.
Her eyes twinkle like stars. I'm really shocked how attached I find myself to her. I named her Tilly Lu. Who ever had her before me took immaculate care of her and I don't think she was anything except displayed. Her eyelashes are anchored in quite well but the right one appears to be coming a little loose. Super easy fix just poke some glue in but I will leave that to the doll collector in you. I steamed and hand cleaned her clothing. The coordinating pieces are so soft and the embroidery is just gorgeous. The bonnet is equally impressive. She is in extremely beautiful and undamaged condition. I made sure to get the best info I could. She feels like holding a sweet real baby. Her little hands and painted nails are perfect. She has bows on her little diaper and feet. She has layers and layers of original handmade dressing gowns under it all a cloth body. She has been carefully detailed with a q tip and alcohol swab just so she's as clean as can be for you. Her outfit is all laid out in photos. She is just absolutely an angel and I hope she is loved and saved for generations to appreciate. This info is all true to the best of my knowledge.
