Barbie EUROPEAN EXCLUSIVE GALA ABEND

  
Vintage Barbie European Exclusive Gala Abend fashion. Very nice but not for the advanced/mint/near mint collector!!! Included are the dress, coat, gloves, silver purse and clear silver open toe shoes. Some research found on internet. Gala Abend was a European Ensemble from 1966 1967. The original French name was Bal des petits lits blancs (Ball for Small White Beds). It was called Gala Abend in the English speaking European Countries.

Its stock number was 1677. Photo #7 is how it displays.

Doll and any other depicted accessories are NOT included. It is a little lighter that the coat when laid out side by side, but barely noticeable on display. No holes tears or repairs.

There is a light stressed area at the bodice V in front, but not torn The fabric inner hem edges show fray but the hem is holding as far as I can see. In first photo is appears yellowish on your right, it is not, it is shadow. Coat is also is overall it is clean, two tea spots are noted in photos that may come out (photo #10). I have worked on them and they have lightened some. On the inner blue satin bottom right corner is a very faint tea discoloration (also noted photo #8). The fur is nice, a little thin and if pulled wants to come out so it is delicate. There are no holes, tears or repairs. Seams including blue satin lining all intact. Barbie R tag does show some fray. Note that IMO the fabric sizing is limp when handled.

Japan silver glitter shoes, long white gloves and silver simple purse are included with no major damage noted. Photos are somewhat darkened, I've made a distance between the fashion and the flash of camera so they do not appear too white, there is a gold drape in the room on the window that casts a yellow shade. The fashion is an even overall cream color.

Doll and any other depicted accessories (invitation) are NOT included. These are used vintage items and usually show some degree of play wear. Please, always refer to photos as part of description.
