Barbie VINTAGE Japanese Exclusive DRESSED BOX BUBBLECUT Doll withGOLDEN ELEGANCE
Not mint but nice for display. Doll has been wiped down with a damp cloth but could use a little cleaning.
Hair has no trimmed or empty plugs and could use a little restyling. Green at each earring hole which is severe due to the very humid climate in Japan. Body is marked Midge 1962/Barbie 1958 with tight arms and hips. Most finger and toe polish.
She will come dressed in a tagged vintage Golden Elegance outfit with all snaps, trims, and buttons. Pearls on hat are the Japanese variation with oblong pearls instead of the regular ones. Necklace clasp and earring posts are tarnished.
Hanky has typical edge fray. Gloves are a little dingy.
Open toe shoes with one marked Japan. Also included is her VHTF pedestal base with nice gold lettering and no chips or cracks but minor scuffs on the top. The wire fits snugly into the hole. Box has shelf wear with discoloration and two repaired corners on lid.
Box bottom has Japanese tariff sticker and outfit stock number sticker is attached to the end flap of the lid. There is no "best offer" option on this listing. Now for the fine print: DESCRIPTION Smoke free home but the previous environment may not have been smoke/pet free.
Any odors detected will be addressed. Condition grades like "mint", "near mint", etc. Are very subjective so I don't use them. The photos and description should help you reach your own grading conclusions.
