I took pictures in the evening with artificial white light, so colors look much duller in the listing pics than in person or should I say "In Doll"? As promised, I just updated the awful white light pictures with natural daylight pics which show much better the actual colors of the doll & her outfit.

If you are a Marlo Flip fan like me, or if you have been looking to upgrade the faded or yellowed Brunette Flip in your collection, here it is for your consideration a beautiful 1971 Dark brown, almost black soft & shiny hair, harder to find third edition with big blue centered eyes & bubble gum pink lips. As all 1971 heads made in japan, her head was made of the translucent type of vinyl, though this doll has a healthy & fresh peachy-pink complexion, not yellow, dark or faded like most. I guess not as peaches'n cream as new, but still excellent.

If only, under certain lights, just one shade tanner than the body. No stains, green or faded spots. No green, No neck splits. No surface marks, dents, pricks or cuts anywhere on the face, nose, head, body, ankles or feet.

Hair is in awesome condition, specially for a played with doll. Shiny, silky & thick almost black color, perfect spit curl on forehead and a neat sidepart. Nice flip all the way around, looks tighter on back, softer longer flip on sides with just a couple of fly-away strands. Her face paint looks great with full brown eyebrows, big blue centered eyes, full bubble gums pink lips & matching blush on both cheeks. Eyebrows and lips on the 1971 TNTs look thinner than those on the previous years TNTs.

This is simply a stunning brunette marlo Flip. She is on a 1971 TNT body made in Japan body with the correct pastel pink complexion of the 1971 japan dolls.

Evenly colored toso, arms and legs. No fading, green or any other spots. Clean and smooth torso with no dents, cracks or scratches from playwear or from changing clothes.

Both knees bend and hold 3X, third bent position is stronger on her right knee. Evenly tight arms & legs. Only marks I see are the usual marks from the inner bending mechanism, dash marks on back of thighs, slightly longer on her right thigh and the round pricks on inner calves. No additional pinholes, dents, bite or cuts.

JAPAN under her left foot only. Factory notches under her feet are not torn. There is extra rubber from the molding process under her right foot. I can not belive in paying attention to this, I must be a hopeless OCD case.

PURPLE PLEASERS outfit (stock # 3483): Excellent+++ clean condition with hot vibrant colors and perfect elastic in blouse and the the skirt waist. No tears, holes, runs, open seams or loose stitches in any of the hems.

Looks great on this amazing Flip. White pilgrim shoes unmarked complements the outfit.

I forgot to include the white fligree barbie hanger, but it is also included. As a FREE BONUS for the lucky winner I have added a magenta & silver adhesive wrist tag specially made for her. It reads GENUINE BARBIE (logo) by MATTEL / Made in Japan on the back. Also a clear cello will keep her gorgeous hair neatly in place during the trip to her new home. Barbie will display almsot like a new doll in your vintage or mod collection either in this outfit or in any of her many cool original fashions from the late 60's or early 70's.

This doll looks super clean from head to toes. She's a stunning 1971 Brunette Marlo Flip and she's. Ready to strike a pose and steal the show in the vintage or Mod section of your Barbie cabinet. His doll turns 50 this year. While in my position, I have handled her gently & used mostly for display purposes.
