Up for sale is this absolutely exquisite Brunette Barbie Ponytail Number 3 with an incredibly rare early transitional body with Japan in Box Marking on Foot. This is an incredibly rare opportunity to own an exquisite Barbie Doll with an original No. 3 Brown Eyeliner head on a late 1959 to early 1960 No. This exquisite doll has stunning make up with bright polish, nose dots, and lips.

She also has perfectly coiffed hair with original hair topknot and poodle bangs and comes dressed in her original black and white zebra swimsuit. Her body is in lovely overall condition however she does have some minor discoloration along her lower leg and foot, which can be seen in the photos and which could likely be cleaned by a professional if you so choose.

There is damage to the underside of her right foot by her toes, see photo, which is not visible from the front of her foot and which does not affect her balance when standing. There is a faint dot along the side of her left buttock that has a slight green hue to it. There is also a minor indentation on the left side of her nose. She comes packaged for presentation and display in a modern box with modern reproduction cardboard insert, please note that this is a box in the same size as the original boxes that we have used for her safe storage and display but is neither a modern or reproduction by Barbie.
