For your consideration is this Fabulous NUMBER ONE BRUNETTE PONYTAIL with her TM Box, marked 850. She is breathtaking with rare.

Original blush, original hoop earrings, original loose curls at bottom of ponytail, original top wrap, and original red lips (they are shinier in the middle and a bit faded on outside edge of lips as color gradually oxidizes). She is just beautiful with a long, soft ponytail and a multitude of loose curls in her bangs. Only one Brunette #1 Ponytail was made for every two #1 Blondes so they hold greater value in the secondary vintage Barbie market all these years later.

No hair trims, no missing fingers, no nose nips, no neck knob issues. She does have about four to six tiny pinpricks near each ear. Not bad and mostly only visible using 10X magnification. She has some staining on the bridge of her feet from her black heels, as is common with the 1s and 2s. She has the metal tubes in both feet; one is pushed a bit up the inside of her leg but I can feel it when I gently probed once with a thin metal skewer.

Her box is in good to very good condition with some water stains to graphics and a split seam. It is the appropriate Barbie "tm" box used for the 1959 Barbies. She will come with her original zebra swimsuit (no repro), original #1 hoop earrings, sunglasses, Barbie (only) booklet, and black #1 heels. But what is best of all is that fabulous original cheek blush, so rare to find 57 years later, and so appealing on the earliest ponytails.
