Heinrich Handwerch / Simon Halbig Doll

  

This lady made by Heinrich Handwerck signed on body. With Simon Halbig head, dressed in vintage pleated and laced pale green. Dress with a decorated hat pictured, to match.

Her boots and socks look to be original and the dress may be. One hand, photo shown, has been repaired.

She has a crack, photo shown, on her side. Original wig, I think mohair, not an expert. I bought her almost forty years ago at an antique shop and she has been on display in my doll room since that time.

I thought at that time and still think she is a raving beauty.
