Offering this 13 composition Kewpie doll. This Kewpie was my mothers' and has no date or other markings I can discern. My mom was born in 1928, so I estimate the Kewpie to be from the early'30s. The doll is in excellent condition, with only some crazing to the finish on her legs and a blemish on the tummy.
This isn't very visible on first glance. Otherwise the doll is extremely well preserved with no damage. One pic shows the doll with a doll stand, but the doll can stand on its own. Kewpies' original romper hasn't escaped the passage of time It is fragile and needs someones sewing skills to replace or repair. One of the shoulder straps has come loose and there's a safety pin holding the dress together in the back.
My mothers' name is taped onto Kewpies' back. I didn't remove this.
