Number 1 Barbie Brunette # 1 ponytail 1959
Up for your consideration is a lovely 1959 Mattel Brunette #1 Barbie doll. I believe she is all original.
She has beautiful face paint with bright red lips that have a little bit of a lip rub on the right top side. She has full, curly bangs and a thin ponytail.
Some of her hair has been trimmed below the bottom band. Her body has faded with age and she has faded fairly evenly. Her feet do not have the typical staining from wearing shoes for many years. Her foot is marked "Japan" and her bottom has the Barbie logo, Pats Pending, MCMLVIII, by Mattel Inc.
The copper rod is sticking out of one foot. Her hair has no missing plugs and it is retied. There are no nose nips, no green ear and no neck splits. Limbs are tight and neck nob is good and sturdy. See my other auctions some starting at.
