Original, 1st Issue Black Barbie and African American Francie, Barbie's Cousin. Francie, Barbie's cousin is the first ever African American Barbie produced, straight legs, not twist'n turn. The Twist'n Turn came out a year later. She was produced in 1967. She has been played with and it appears that her hair is a little shorter than when manufactured.
Other than that, she is in very good condition. Black Barbie (what she was named as when originally manufactured) is the first ever Black Barbie. She was manufactured in the late 1970's.She has never been played with, but taken out of the box and put in a display cabinet. Her clothes are the original clothes from the box.
