Pleasant Company White Body Kirsten American Girl Doll w/ Tinsel Hair. This is a beautiful, rare doll, probably from 1990 or 1991. She has not been modified in any way from her original. Kirsten has tinsel blond hair, meaning that it is shiny with almost translucent strands running through her hair. Her hair and bangs have not been cut.

It is a bit dry, which is to be expected considering her age. I haven't attempted any restoration techniques.

Her original white body and limbs are clean, no marks or stains. Her limbs are loose but she can still hold a pose and stand unassisted. Kirsten has the signature very light face paint of an early edition Pleasant Company doll, as well as softer vinyl. The paint on her teeth has unfortunately been scratched or damaged in some way, see pictures. I know this can be fixed but I haven't tried.

One of her eyes is starting to get "silver eye", a common defect in dolls of her age. Honestly, because of her bright blue eyes, I think it just gives her an extra special sparkle, so I've not attempted to modify it in any way. It's part of what makes her unique. Her eyes open and close just the way they're supposed to. Please see all pictures for exact cosmetic condition and other details.
