Brunette hair large Bild Lilli doll on original plastic stand. Pleated long ball gown made of tulle with pleated low neck, wide skirt, three prym snaps at back. Blue tulle slip and pink silk panties.

This is the rarest type of ball gown, the fabric is very fragile. There is no other known example in any color in this fabric. NM original doll and NM original outfit in excellent condition. No chips cracks, missing fingers or damages. This exact doll and outfit pictured on page 82 of Deutsch Modepuppen. Additional photos available upon request. Over a period of 20 years Mr. Moss has amassed one of the best, if not the best, collections in the world of Lilli. Moss was instrumental in researching the history of Lilli, from its origins at Bild Zeitung to Hausser and beyond. It was largely his collection of Lilli dolls, outfits and accessories that was featured in the book by Silke Knaak, Deutsche Modepuppen der 50er und 60er. Moss worked along with Ms.

Knaak and Inge Astor-Kaiser in the production of the book, providing his dolls for the images in the book, as well as outfits and documentary items. A group photo of these three people instrumental in the production of the book can be seen on page 4 of the book.

Most of the dolls offered here are the same dolls that are pictured in the book - not the same type of doll or outfit, but the exact doll and outfit photographed for the book, and shown in the book.
