Is a new fashion doll. Made in a limited edition of 450. One of a series of three characters called the'S' girls.

She is based on Bild Lilli , but with a different head sculpt. The body is based on the French doll Caprice but with modifications.

Her breasts are very slightly smaller than Barbies , her hips somewhat larger , but on the whole Barbie sized clothes will fit her. She's made in a numbered , limited edition of 450.

When she sells out she will NEVER be remade. She comes in a custom made , heavy card box that is very reminiscent and in the style of an old dolls packaging.

It's pastiched from vintage packaging and was designed with great care. She's made in the same way as Lilli. A factory made , hard plastic , elastic strung body of 11.5 inch height is spray painted. The hard plastic colour has been Pantone matched in shade exactly to the paint used. The hard plastic I used for this doll is more luxurious and heavier than plastics I've used in the past.

It's resin like in quality. With a bisque like, matte finish and a slight, beautiful luminescence. Each doll is hand air brushed ; her blush and eye shadow , individually , by my trained hand.

Then each doll is individually hand painted and sealed. Her shoes are moulded on her , like Bild Lillis. Then on the unwigged dolls , the hair is set in , under a screwed in pate. It's a viscose fibre. Every doll is slightly different.

I'm an artist , I don't make the same thing twice , I can't , so please don't ask me to. Some dolls have glued on , custom made wigs. Some a simple set that a wig can be worn over.

Some dolls will have the Lalka , plaited , set hair. The wigs have been specially made for this project in very small limited editions. There will never be more than 20 of each wig in a specific colour. I previously made the Lalka dolls which were a copy of Bild Lilli. That's how I learned to make dolls , by copying a classic.

I don't promote much , I just make dolls slowly and to the best of my ability and with true integrity , I believe. The clothes are hand made by talented seamstresses. This Sylvain has an enormous beehive hair do under a chiffon head scarf and a velvet bow. She has especially severe makeup and is wearing night wear outfit designed by Clare Duncan from Australia , its trimmed in lace and has lace frills on the knickers. She also has long pink gloves and a little pink clutch.
