VINTAGE 1960 #3 850 BARBIE BLONDE PONYTAIL DOLL BROWN EYELINER with #2 STAND

Please see full item description for more details. Up for your consideration is this vintage 1960 #3 Barbie doll wearing her original outfit.

Youll also be getting a #2 stand, and booklet. I dont believe this doll was ever played with and she comes from the original owner. Ive not attempted to clean her or fix any issues I mention (other than adding rubber bands). Her hair is still in the original set and never taken down. I have added rubber bands because Im sure the top one has disintegrated under the hair.

The bottom one disintegrated during storage and left residue in the curl. The hair is still soft with no cuts, but there are some strands that have come loose and some dark spots at the top. The face paint has a tiny bit missing at the left eyebrow and along eyelids.

No green ear or neck splits. Arms and legs are tight and hold a pose.

Finger/toe nails have light paint loss. The feet have some discoloration from storing with the shoes on. There is a small nick on the back of the right arm and front right upper leg. I cannot see a TM/R marking on the rear, either it was never there or worn off. Body is solid and smells like crayon.

Ive taken lots of photos and notated some of the issues I see. The swimsuit is nice with just minor wear, earrings are excellent and original. Her shoes are #1s with holes and there are no splits. Glasses are a bit dirty. The stand is for a #2/3 with the hole just off center instead of at the edge.

The wire portion broke at the weld but maybe someone can repair. Ive included a replacement wire portion which works just as good. The base is free of cracks or breaks and just has light surface scratches. Looks like a holdover from the #1s because you can see where the tubes were supposed to go.

The booklet is a TM version and is complete. She comes from a smoke free home and has no offensive odors. Please view all the pictures and ask any questions before purchasing.
