Vintage 1965 SPP lilac Barbie and Skipper Vanity Trunk exc+ complete super rare

  
Up for sale is a very rare Barbie and Skipper vinyl trunk made for Mattel by SPP in 1965. This "Barbie and Skipper Vanity Trunk" is made of the lilac vinyl found on some other SPP vinyl products and features pretty graphics of Bubblecut Barbie and Skipper getting ready for bed at their respective vanities. Inside the one side of the trunk has the usual wardrobe section with rod for hanging clothes and 2 accessory drawers. But the other side is truly unique and is delicate and easily broken - a plastic molded insert has Barbie and Skipper's vanities with attached plastic mirrors. And perhaps the hardest part to find are the 2 yellow plastic vanity seats that are not attached in any way and were easily broken or lost.

This trunk is overall in excellent-plus condition: has approximately 1-inch splits at both top and bottom of side seam and a tiny bit of rust on latch and some grommets, but overall very clean and no breaks in the plastic section; chairs do show slight paint wear/rubs.
