Vintage #1 Brunette Ponytail Barbie 1959

  

Vintage #1 Brunette Ponytail Barbie 1959. Markings: Barbie (TM) Pats Pend (C)MCMLVIII by Mattel Inc. Hair: Curly bangs, original top knot and band at bottom of ponytail. Some missing hair plugs in back at nape of neck.

Hair plugs that move up the left side of the hair line to the left ear are thinning, not missing. Head: Some rubbing to black eyeliner, brown brows and to the color of her bright red lips. She does have the smokey eyeshadow and a hint of blush on both cheeks. There is a tiny pin prick right corner of her mouth. Small nip to tip of nose.

I do not see any green in her earring holes. Couple of dots below right cheek. No red dots in nostrils.

Body: Overall, nice and even fading to the vinyl. Arms and legs are tight. Green mark at the small of her back.

Nails have lots of polish. Nice red polish on toes. Top of arch has staining from wearing OT mules.

Also some staining near toe area on the bottom due to staining from OT mules. Copper tubing is still in her feet. Usual wear of vinyl for a doll so old. No obvious dents or scratches. This Barbie is from my own personal collection. Since that time, she has been proudly on display in my smoke free home. Please view all of the photos before purchasing.
