Vintage #1 Ponytail Barbie doll. Gorgeous
She is one of the nicest examples I have seen as she is a beautiful peachy cream color. She comes with her original T. M box, swimsuit, Japan Heels and Cat eye sunglasses.
Her copper tubes are still in her legs , one shows out of the bottom of her foot the other is higher up in her leg. Her hair is a soft mohair and could use a bottom curl. There are no visible missing plugs.
Her limbs are tight and hold a pose well. She has no green ear whatsoever.
No neck splits or chew marks. Her make up is excellent, just some blue eyeliner missing.
It looks original as when I washed her face it all stayed nicely. Her body has turned a lovely pale peach color and is a little pinker where her swimsuit has been against her skin.
Her butt cheek is marked Barbie T. M pats Pend (c) MCMLVIII BY MATTEL INC and she has Japan marked on the sole of her foot. She retains around 70% of all polish, it all looks original. She does have some staining on her feet from her shoes which is fairly common in these dolls.She truly is a wonderfully clean and well kept example of an original #1 Barbie Doll.
