Vintage #1 Ponytail Barbie, MIB with Number One Shoes & Booklet. Vintage #1 Ponytail Barbie, Mint in Box with First #1 Barbie Booklet & #1 Heels. She is marked: Barbie TM, Pats Pend, CMCLVIII, by Mattel Inc. On left side: B5 She has a beautiful color tone and her body is near mint.

Her face paint is near mint. There is a very small lip rub on right side at tip. She has a tiny blemish near outside tip of left eyebrow. There is a very tiny bump under chin area near left side.

I believe this little bump is probably a factory thing but not sure. Face has some faint surface flaws on right side of face, near hairline. They are not scratches or nicks or holes, they can only be seen through a powerful magnifier.

When you feel the face, it is totally smooth. I tried to show in pictures but very hard to see even in close ups. I try to mention everything but if you are just looking at her in a normal setting, the only things would be the lip rub and the blemish and they are not too bad. I have not attempted to clean her face as I did not want to take a chance on doing it wrong so may also improve after cleaning. She has mint eye makeup. Her ears do have earring holes but no discoloration or green. She has no neck splits. Her body is firm and tight, there is no looseness anywhere.

Her fingernail and toenail polish is all there and there are no slits or flaws on fingers or hands. There are no odors on body, very clean. There is a tiny red speck on back of right forearm and it can been seen in pictures.

Her feet have the outline of the shoes. On bottom of right foot: Japan. The metal things that go into the stand are present but one is sticking out more than the other.

There is a stand but it is not marked in any way. It is a hard plastic material and can be used to display her. Her hair is very soft but not in the hard curl at the bottom.

Her swimsuit is mint and she has the number 1 shoes with the holes in them. She also has her sunglasses and she has a pair of the common earrings, no hoops. The number one booklet is still inside cellophane and still sealed so I did not want to remove it.

Her box is an R box, not a TM. The box is in near mint conditon. Graphics are bright and no stains or marks.

On bottom end: Stock No. At the bottom end at corner, it looks as if the corner split and it was taped. Inside lid is clean and mint. Bottom of box is near mint. It is very clean with no stains.
