Vintage # 2 PONYTAIL BARBIE DOLL. All original

  
A wonderful find at a local Estate Sale. An original #2 Blonde Barbie Doll in a vintage 1960s ponytail case with her original T.

She has likely been in the case for years and wearing her red Flare coat as her body has stayed a wonderful peachy color. Her body is heavy and very clean with the exception of the small red stains to her feet from the red heels she was also wearing whilst in her case. The #2 doll is far more rare than the #1 due to the short manufacture of around 6 months...

Making her a very desirable and collectible doll. She has no green ear, neck splits or Nose nip. All her joints are very tight and hold a pose wonderfully. Her make up is all original with just a little fading on her lip close to the left edge and some of the blue eyeliner is wearing off. Her hair looks complete and could do with a re style.

As many collectors like their dolls all original. The original Rubber band is still in her hair but it has broken up and has turned into little hard lumps. Her finger & toe nail polish is about 90% , she has no missing digits.

She will come with her red Flare coat, hat, purse, shoes plus white sheer gloves. The case is in excellent condition and contains some other clothing items. M stand is in excellent shape with no cracks/ holes.

Her bottom is marked Barbie T. M pats Pend (c) MCMLVIII by MATTEL inc.

M is worn but you can see the raised area. Her foot is marked Japan top to bottom on the sole.
