Vintage Barbie #1 Ponytail VVRare Hand Painted Minty

  

For the serious Barbie collector, you are looking at a hand painted, extremely rare, "squiggle brow" #1 Barbie. One prominent Barbie vendor has said there were only ten of these left in the world. The owner's most cherished Barbie is letting her go. This girl is part of original Barbie history, and pages of Barbie Bazaar are shown here to verify her hand painted authenticity.

She has the "reverse B" eyes. Since a Barbie collector asked, I have included a picture of the Barbie Bazaar referenced, Volume 13, Issue 5, from Oct 2001. Her head and body are perfect in every way, and her body still has the original pink coloring, which has faded evenly. Comes with everything shown, and the stand is a replacement, but works very well.
