My mother who was born in 1949 recently showed me this Barbie #2 that she's had since she was a child, and asked me to list it for her. It has the classic white irises of the #1 and #2 Barbies, along with the arched eyebrows. The bottoms of the feet are solid, which from my research indicates it is the number 2 Barbie. I've had a hard time finding any past auctions for the Brunette version of the Barbie #2, so I think this is a rare find for whoever wins it.

They are also vintage and from the same time period of the original release. For a doll that is 63 years old, it appears to be in very good condition.

According to my mom, she kept it stored in a shoebox in her closet for the last several decades. There is some fading/discoloration on the front of the thighs, and the inside of the upper arms as I've captured in the pictures.

The bottoms of the feet have JAPAN stamped horizontally and enclosed in a box. From what I've been told this stamp is rare and was only on the earliest versions of the doll.
