Vintage Barbie Japanese Exclusive #2623 Red Version

  

Red version of this gown in nice condition. Believe it retains most of its silvery threads, though having never seen one new or in mint condition, I really cannot be sure. It does still retain the bow at the shoulder, although, as you can see, it has faded to orange.

Comes with pink-lined fur stole, silver glitter Japan mules, long white gloves and graduated-pearl necklace. I tried to photograph the necklace to show that it may be missing a few pearls, but I really cannot say for sure since the string is original and intact and I don't know how they would have fallen off. Anyway, very nice outfit for display.

Sidebar #2: I NEVER put blush on my dolls to make them look better so they will sell higher. My dolls are original and if they've had a touch-up of any kind, I will surely divulge that information. Sidebar #3: Speaking of coloring, I do not have any kind of special filter on my camera, nor do I use color-editing photo programs to make my dolls "pinker" or to enhance them in any way whatsoever.
